Election Information

Special Election will be held on Tuesday, August 19  for residents of the 48th House of Delegates district only. 48th District voters should vote at their regular polling places, which will be open from 6am-7pm.

Unofficial Election Results

The next General Election date is Tuesday, November 4, 2014.  On the ballot in 2014 will be the offices of:

  • U.S. Senate
  • U.S. House of Representatives, 8th District
  • One County Board and one School Board member

There will also be one proposed Constitutional amendment and four County bond referendum questions, as well as Special Elections to fill unexpired terms for Treasurer and School Board.

The deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 4 election is Tues. Oct. 14.

Absentee Voting for the Nov. 4 election begins Sep. 19 and ends Nov. 1.

If you'll be away from Arlington on Election Day or unable to go to the polls, you can vote an absentee ballot.

On Election Day, all Arlington polling places are open from 6 am to 7 pm.
