- Updated (9/22/20): Assignment emails have been sent. Officers assigned to the election received a link to confirm their assignment. We will contact additional workers with an assignment letter via email over the next couple weeks as spots become available.
- Training will be conducted online this election and begins on October 4, 2020. Updates will be provided via email to assigned workers and on our online training page.
- Election officer, high school page, and volunteer opportunities are closed for the November 3rd election as we are beyond capacity. Thanks to all for the huge community response to this important need. All applications received on or before September 1st will be considered for this year’s election officer pool. You can still apply to serve as an election officer in 2021.

Become an Election Officer
Election Officers are an essential position that serve voters at polling places on Election Day and during early voting. To serve, you must be a registered Virginia voter. High school students and volunteers can also work at polling places or assist with election-related activities. Learn more:
